Feeding Your Frenchie Right

What to feed, how much, and what to skip — tuned for French Bulldog quirks.

Feeding by life stage

Puppy (0–12 months)

Growing Frenchies need high-quality puppy food with balanced calcium. Feed 3–4 small meals a day to avoid gas and bloat.

Adult (1–7 years)

Twice-a-day feeding with a measured cup. Watch calorie density — Frenchies gain weight fast and joints don't love extra pounds.

Senior (7+ years)

Look for joint-supporting formulas with omega-3s and lower calories. Softer kibble or lightly moistened food is easier on aging teeth.
